Overview

Jared Robin, founder of RevGenius, runs one of the largest and most engaged communities for revenue professionals worldwide. Between managing partnerships, events, and a thriving member base, Jared also oversees the operational side of RevGenius, including outreach, community emails, and deliverability. Like many operators in fast-moving B2B spaces, he had tested multiple email infrastructure providers.

The Challenge

ZapMail worked well for a while, but occasional downtime and inconsistent inbox performance made scalability difficult. For a community as active and fast-paced as RevGenius, every interruption in deliverability directly affected growth. The team needed dependable infrastructure that could handle high volumes of outreach without constant monitoring or risk of downtime.

The Switch to Aerosend from ZapMail

After connecting with Aerosend through the RevGenius community, Jared decided to test it alongside ZapMail. What stood out immediately was not just the product, but the partnership. The Aerosend team provided hands-on help with deliverability optimization, Smartlead setup, and ongoing guidance on best practices, all without pushing for a full migration.

That combination of reliability, transparency, and proactive support made a lasting impression. Jared noted that even if Aerosend and ZapMail were technically identical, Aerosend’s expert support and commitment to helping users succeed made it the clear winner.

The Results

Over time, Aerosend proved to be more stable. Email deliverability consistently outperformed ZapMail, with zero major downtime incidents during active campaigns. The infrastructure ran smoothly, and Aerosend provided actionable deliverability insights that improved performance across the board. While RevGenius continues to diversify providers for risk management, Aerosend has become the preferred choice for both performance and partnership quality.

“I’ve used ZapMail and Aerosend, and while both are good, Aerosend has been clearly above. Even if it were the same product, the support makes all the difference. I’ve learned more about deliverability from Aerosend than anyone else in the space.”

– Jared Robin, Founder, RevGenius
